Mysti's WA —

Mission Statement

In the heart of Seattle, MystiCares in Washington ignites a movement rooted in lived experience, radical love, and unwavering accountability. Named in honor of Giovanne’s mother, grandmother, and sister, Mysti—an actress, significant semi-truck driver, activist, and beacon of resilience—our work channels her legacy of compassion and fierce creativity.

Our Origin: Born from Loss, Fueled by Purpose

When Giovanne lost his mother, Mysti, during the pandemic, it wasn’t just grief—it was a catalyst. Mysti's Washington emerged from that sorrow, a promise carved in pain: to uplift others when life leaves them bleeding out. Our foundation is personal, powerful, and impenetrable—shaped in the backstreets of Seattle and rising from trauma into transformation.

Our Mission: Transformative Care for Washingtonians

We serve justice-impacted individuals, unhoused families, and those caught in the grip of trauma or behavioral health crises, especially in King, Snohomish, Thurston, Yakima, Lewis, Clark, and Pierce counties.

Through:

  • Housing-first stabilization with dignity and autonomy

  • Employment pipelines that offer purpose, not just paychecks

  • Care management rooted in empathy and cultural respect

  • Navigational support for SSI, food stamps, mental health, and justice systems

We reject performative fixes. Instead, we sculpt lasting independence and agency.

Our Philosophy: A Hand-Up, Not a Handout

We don’t enable. We empower. Inspired by Giovanne’s advocacy against disempowering aid systems, Mysti's embeds accountability into care—helping people document service hours, maintain treatment, and build structure. Our vision aligns with a “hand‑up” approach: clear goals, real work, and tangible outcomes.

Our Culture: Seattle Strong, WA Wide

Born in Seattle, Mysti's bears the spirit of the Pacific Northwest—gritty, compassionate, and innovative. Our roots run deep here, but our ambition stretches across Washington. We’ve served urban centers like Seattle and Tacoma and are expanding into Yakima and beyond. Every partnership is a declaration: We’re showing up. We’re building futures. And we do it together.

 Why This Matters Now

Washington’s human services have seen systems that “help” but disempower. We flip the script—accountability and love are not mutually exclusive; they’re twin engines of dignity. Our clients don’t just survive—they become outreach workers, business owners, and community leaders.

Our Vision: A Stronger, Sovereign WA

Mysti's Washington isn’t just a service provider—we’re a launchpad:

  • A future where Medicaid recipients are tax-paying homeowners

  • Community care that scales—for caregivers, justice-impacted individuals, and people with trauma

  • An ecosystem of equity, purpose, and mutual responsibility across WA

Our Pledge: Radical Care, Rooted in Resilience

To every person we serve, we promise:

  • Services infused with empathy and structural support

  • Connection to networks that extend across the state

  • Every effort measured, every outcome reached with dignity

Mysti's WA stands at a crossroads in Washington—a beacon for systemic transformation. Rooted in Giovanne’s grief-turned-purpose and echoing from Seattle’s streets to statewide impact, our mission is clear: we build people, not dependencies—and we do it together.
